Graphic engineering and design
Technical representation, design methodology and project-based learning connected to professional practice.
Design lecturer and researcher
Profesor Permanente Laboral · Department of Graphic Engineering
Design, engineering graphics and applied statistics for real-world problems.
I combine teaching in design and engineering graphics with research in colour science, sustainable materials and statistical modelling.

Profile
I hold a PhD from UPV and have taught at university level since 2009. My work lies at the intersection of applied statistics, graphic engineering, colour science and sustainable textile materials. I study how experimental design, multivariate analysis and predictive models can turn complex data into reproducible decisions.
My career bridges university and industry. Earlier experience in process R&D and quality management now informs the way I conduct research, teach and transfer knowledge: starting from concrete problems, using verifiable methods and seeking results that work beyond the laboratory.
Measure carefully, model rigorously and test whether the solution works under real conditions.

Research
The scale changes —from materials to systems— but the areas share an applied, quantitative and interdisciplinary research logic.
Technical representation, design methodology and project-based learning connected to professional practice.
Design of experiments, ANOVA, multivariate analysis and predictive modelling for industrial, biomedical and environmental systems.
Colour measurement, formulation and prediction to control deviations and turn colorimetric data into process decisions.
Natural pigments, nanoclays and hybrid materials for textile and polymer applications aligned with circular-economy principles.
Recent publications
Knowledge transfer
Three projects capture the way I work: begin with a production need, design the evidence, then convert the findings into a tool or process improvement.
Models and a formulation algorithm to blend recycled textile fibres and predict final production colour.
Experimental design, colorimetric measurement and results analysis for new natural dyes and low-impact biomaterials.
A 64-run experimental design to optimise liquid hydrocarbon production from end-of-life tyre recycling.
Teaching
In the 2026/27 academic year, I teach Engineering Graphics II, Design Methodology and Technical Office at the Higher Polytechnic School of Alcoy.
My teaching combines technical foundations, projects close to professional practice and ongoing guidance. I have also taught statistics, econometrics, quality control, presentation techniques, habitat design and multivariate analysis for an MBA programme.
